Vera Kalberguenova was born in Moscow were she grew up. After a diploma in Geology at the State University of Moscow (MGU), she took up classical singing with Maria Ganieshnina, at the Music Faculty of  the State University for Pedagogy in Moscow. In 1998, she won the  first prize at the Jekaterinenburg contest for music students. In 1999, she received a diploma at the Mozart contest in Salzburg.


Between 1999 and 2001, she played different parts at the Theater 

Amadeï and Satz. She sang among others Papagena and Pamina (The Magic  Flute),

Blonde (The Abduction from the Seraglio) Bastienne (Bastien  and Bastienne), Clorinada (Cerentola), Amour (Les Indes Galantes) and   Ludmilla (Rouslan and Ludmilla).


From 2004 to 2007, she studied under the direction of  Antoinette Faes  and got her professionnal diploma at the Conservatory of Friburg  (Switzerland). She attended various Master Classes under  the direction of Tereza Zylis-Gara, Philippe Huttenlocher, and Mady 

Masplé and perfected her acting skills with Brigitte Salin ( Théatre des Osses)

In 2006, she sang Blonde (The Abduction from the Seraglio - W.A.   Mozart) at the Neues Theater am Bahnhof, in Dornach (Basel/  Switzerland). She gave also numerous concerts in Switzerland and France.


She sings Bach, Mozart, Orff, Rossini, Pergolesi etc., romances from  R.Strauss, Poulenc, Schumann, Schubert, Wolf, Debussy, Tchaikovsky, Rahmaninov, Rimsky-Korsakov and Glinka,
